Being born in a low class hood ghetto, and also being black. Can it get any worse. Spoiler alert: it can. what if a poor negro is also born gay? That's it. That's the synopsis of this film, 'Moonlight'. An award winning film (130 in total to this day) from all over the world, and ultimately won a best drama film award from golden globe 2017 and was nomiated for oscar in the last year. It's safe to say that, this films really shine bright like a full moon.



Moonligjt is the adaptation of Tarell Alvin's screenplay; 'In Moonligjt Black Boys Look Blue', telling life story of Seron, a young african boy who had to grow up among the bullies, criminals and drugs. all while deeply, he was uncertain of his feeling toward his best friend, who grew up with him

Barry Jenkins, 37 years old director chose to tell the story of Moonlight in three saperate acts, staring three saperate actors for three saperate time period. Alex Hibbert for childhood, Ashton Sanders for his puberty and Trevan Te Roads for Seron's adulthood. Despite the film based on a heavy subject, Jenkins told the story in the most lighthearted way possible.



Moonlight became a movie that own heart of the audiences. and became a host for many future film award contest. The mouth to mouth reccommendtion in the social media is also what gave the renown this film's well deserved.
